James's Past Projects List
I am keeping a tally of all the projects I make/have made for the living history groups I am in and the SCA as best I can. I also sell items from time to time and not all make the list and I sometimes forget items, this is a list of what I can remember. This list only goes back to Summer 2004; I started the SCA in 2002 and had done another group starting in 2000.
This is a list of items I have personally made myself, if I had help I will say so (* = Kimderly helped with some of the hand finishing; that is common with items for sale):

- Finished Chuck’s 15th century shoes. They have a reinforce on the open edge and heel with non visible to the outside stitching.
- Made a combination of bee’s wax and neatsfoot oil to create a paste to naturally finish shoes with. I finished Chuck's boots and my shoes with them.
- Fixed Will's hosen
- Wrote a paper on the battle of Hastings and documentation for my clothing from the 11th century
- Red wool cape and leg wraps I will use for my Roman auxiliary kit
- A Coptic tunic on white and black linen; the designs are appliquéd on.
- Rust colored wool wool braccae based on the Thorsberg trousers

- Silk flag for Countess Denise. Kim and I worked on this together and she did 75% of the work, I laid out the art and painted the details, Kim did the hand sewing, grunt work painting, and gold leafing.
- Reworked the Roman shield I have. I painted the front, added a leather grip to the back, and stitched on the rawhide edging.
